Lot's going on

Unfortunately my rechargeable batteries are at the end of their life cycle so there are no pictures.  Lot's is going on though.

Christmas

The tree is up, the house is decorated and one amaryllis is blooming! Shopping is almost done.  I started wrapping presents today. One box is ready to be mailed out.  My Dad's Fair Isle hat looks like a beanie (AGHHHHHHH).  I need to pick up stitches from the bottom and add about four inches.  The other project isn't started although I bought yarn for it at Knit Happens.

New House

We have a roof and windows!  FF"s son's room looks cool.  It gets the morning the light which may be rough for an almost -teenager but it is a neat space. The room is over the two car garage and has neat ceiling lines.  I am very excited about it!

Work

Work is insane.  I am putting in longer hours and the commute takes time.

Wedding

We have picked out my wedding band.  It will match my engagement ring and look gorgeous.  We (okay I - but he isn't protesting) have decided to register for good china after all.  We haven't picked pattern for every day or dressy but I think it would be nice to have dressier things for special occasions.

FF

I love him to pieces.  He does little things that remind me how lucky we are to have crossed paths.  We take care of each other in our own ways.  We are growing together but neither is asking the other to change.

Good deed for the day

Today I helped two little dogs find their way home.  When I returning home from a walk I ran into one who did not have an ID tag on its harness.  Soon I found that it had a buddy also without a tag.  I asked a neighbor to help start ringing doorbells.  A family across the street and their friends also helped and after about 20 minutes we found their home.  The family hadn't realized that they had escaped.

Plans for later

Tonight I am going spin and start cracking on the other Christmas project.  The hat is navy at the bottom and I want great light and sharp eyes when i pick up the 108 stitches.

Enjoy the holidays.

Peace be with you and those you love.
