Sorry for the lacks of posts- things are wicked at work & next week will not be any better. Here are a bunch of pictures to make up for my absence.
The first shot should be of one of the two hanks of Manos del Uruguay that I bought at Knit Happens. 
Okay so the first photo is a bit of an action shot but it is the hank shot I have. Next up is a shot what the other hank became last week when I was too tired to focus on the ribbing for Giraffe.

Next up are two shots of Giraffe to prove she has grown a little.
Here the new purse I bought today because my everyday black one died.
It is so deep/big that I splurged & got a perky makeup bag to go in it. Sebastian is checking out both purchases. 
Knitting projects for this week: I am going to make a square for the knitting group at my parents' church. I am thinking about trying out the Simple Flower Lace Pattern that is explained in Rowan 27. I'll also work on Giraffe.
